#2
so you took a stock block b16 to 10,000rpms?
Might wanna adjust your price if you seriously wanna sell this....$1900 is STEEP for a beaten on b16 with a LS tranny that you haven't tested yet.
Sorry to on your thread, but i'm honestly trying to help, no one is gunna pay $1900 for a 1st gen b16 with LS tranny that you kicked the crap out of.

the motor was not taken to that rpm yet it was a daly driver b4 rebuild that far its been built so it can with stand up till that rpm lol so ideal for a ctr build only missing the ctr pistons to bump the compression the motor has never been started so it will need a break in for the first few tanks
also its not a 1 gen its a 3 gen because its from a 2000 sir big diffrence between the 2 lol one will explode at 9000 rpm the other if built will go passed lol also the main bearings and thrust washers in the crank are rated for 11 but 10 whould be safe the top end is rated to 11000 rpm valves and retainers so the motor can take it also it was rebuilt for the reasion i wanted a high rpm motor thats nice for closed track raceing
PS read all the info b4 assuming lol

If you think a 1st gen b16 is any different than a non-existant 3rd gen (2000 SiR would be 2nd gen) you're wrong. Main bearings and thrust washers rated to 11000rpms? I hope the muffler bearings will be able to keep up at that RPM.
Using CTR pistons in a b16 would be a complete waste of money seeing as it won't even raise the comression to 11:1 CR (not high enough to make power to 10,000rpms).
No offense dude, but in order to make power to 10,000rpms you're gunna need 13:1 CR (or higher), some massive cams (not the stock ones that come with your engine) and some work done to the bottom end (balancing it to 10,000rpms, better rods/pistons) b/c in stock form (which your bottom end is) it is NOT safe to rev to 10,000rpms. I'm speaking from firsthand experience here building engines and tuning cars for years.
Just b/c you've got new main bearings and thrust washers (probably ACL stuff too, not even OEM) DOES NOT mean you can rev to 10,000rpms. Bearings aren't rated for a specific RPM. And no offense I don't think the cheap *** Blox valvetrain would be safe to 10,000rpms either. Blox is skunk2 rip-off stuff and I wouldn't trust it to 9000rpms nevermind 10-11,000rpms.
Again dude, seriously, even though you think your engine is worth that much money, honestly, its NOT, even if it was rebuilt with the $500 valvetrain and $100 bearings. Anyone who knows anything will see this FS post and know to stay away. If it was posted up for $1000 then someone looking for a cheap swap (which b16s are) will pick it up and ditch the LS tranny, b/c you're going NOWHERE with a LS tranny on a b16 (i've got a b16 w/LS tranny so I know, but mines boosted).
Anyways, good luck with the sale. If anything, consider this a free bump.
