b18c1 Head!
As the title states:
I have a B18C1 GSR head sitting wrapped up in a box. Perfect for anyone with a B16/18 looking for higher compression and a spare head! The best place for this head would be on a B18B (LS NonVtec Engine) as this is a perfect candidate for the covetted LS/Vtec swap!
Specs(The good):
- Head was decked. For higher compression, not 100% sure exactly how much but this can easily be verified by a machine shop.
- Head has a mild port and polish job done to it.
- Head is complete, including IM/TB/Vtec Solenoid/All internals/
- Think I have a second IM kicking around as well I can throw in.
- Head came off my JDM GSR
Specs (The bad):
- The reason im not currently running this head is due to the fact it has a cracked valve guide.
- This is a cheap fix at a machine shop and would have to be done to the head anyways if you were putting in a decent cam package say Buddyclub/skunk2/ferrea whatever!
- NO Bent Valves, no scarring, nothing, just a pathetically weak valve guide that decided to let go (you could hear something minor with a stethoscope at idle and when torn apart the guide was found to be cracked)
Price:
- I purchased my replacement head for this one for $1000 with 160k km's and all stock.
- Considering that the head im selling is P+P and minimal K's I was thinking asking $700 OBO for the box with ALL components complete.
- If you know me, then you know that number is easily massageable (Eh Craig!)
