lol, that's ALWAYS a given!

how deep are the scratches? if its at the clearcoat level (it wouldnt be any deeper unless you got razor blade shards in your towel, or if the paint isn't severely neglected), you might want to pick up some scratch X, which is an excellent scratch remover, relatively mid range in terms of abrasive-ness... then move onto something a bit less abrasive, like a cleaner wax, follow up with canuba, then it should be good as new

next time use a Terry Cloth , and a wax of your choice. I would go with Mothers, or Turtle wax

ya sheepskin is decent to clean the car with, also drying with this towel that crappy tire sells is good, ive never scratched anything with it, its a purple towel that dries right out so its extra stiff, then when you want to dry the car you wet the towel and go!

i find one of the best chamois out there are the absorber. their fairly pricey but well worth the money. as for the wax i like the eagle 1 nano wax

, why the heck would u do that, just rinse and soap your car properly....and use one cloth.

and i don't recommend using chamois, they scratch the car, and don't dry that well.......California Water Blade, and a cloth somewhat like a terry cloth will do the job

Microfiber towels are the best cloths for buffing off polishes, waxes, and sealants IMO. I like them a lot more than regular terry towels.
