steve said i would need the roll bar for the gfx so that they wont crack if i mold them. im still trying to decide weather or not to do this... probly not but its a possibility. the car doesn't really have much power but as a unibody car + being a vert means the car has no structure. trust me the car is not very rigid at all. so maybe sfc's and a 6 pt cage later.... when im done with my motor im aiming for around 400 hp at the crank. would that be enough power to need a cage?

BTW I know he was refering to the spacers, I'm just trying to understand how it is unsafe.

I just happen to think visually, unless you have the ***** to back it up, a roll bar is a statment of "I'm better than you". And if you aren't, sorry bro, thats rice. But if shooting for 400+ then you got *****.

the spacers are unsafe b/c they put stress on the lug bolts or w/e you call them and its possible for them to snap and a wheel to fall off. (i think)
also what do you think about the 91-92 gfx? yay or nay?

you can get a good welding shop to make a set of sfc's for cheap (and any 8 point cage for $180 is for looks only the metal is more than that) the sfc's I had on one of my camaros cost me a total of $50 (I did not use pre fab ones)
