mixed emotions...

So after making that shaving suggestions thread i thought i was done and had a set plan for my body work and so on. After reading this thread on TGO I found out how much simpler it is than I thought to put on a high rise spoiler which I also made a thread about before. Now that I think about it... I dont want a stock looking car. That's what I had when I got my car. That's no fun. lol. What would you like to see me do to my car? 2" cowl goes perfect with the high rise spoiler. If and when I get a hood that will be it for sure. 91-92 style ground effects for the front and sides? Let me know what you all think. Thanks in advance. Heres some pics of this one guys car that has done all of this stuff. I may consider molding the other ground effects too b/c i think that would be absolutely sick! What do you all think about a roll bar?

Dear sweet jesus. I knew they were big but wow. Look at the bottom-most picture, at the bottom right hand corner, and look at that hub spacer... unsafe doesnt even describe that...

Okay sorry, that was off topic, but anyway. I've always liked cowl hoods so to that i'd definately say hell ya. The spoiler would look good only with the hood, spoilers and hoods go together, and must be styled around one another imo.

not a fan of that spoiler at all. Mold the ground effects, maybe graft some composite headlights in (or just one of the conversion kits that are out there) the cowl hood is always good, flush the door handles. Make sure and put sub frame connectors in to keep everything from cracking

roll bar = cheaper than sfc's and you actually see it! i like the looks of it. I think a roll bar would defeat the purpose of subframe connectors and do a better job than the sfc's would.
lol about the spacers...yeah thats pretty ridiculous.
the only way i would do the spoiler is if i did the hood.
im thinkin new grill and tails too.
what do you mean by grafting composite headlights in steve?

the rollbar will help some, but you need the connectors also to resist all the twisting (unless doing an 8 point cage) put some headlights from a newer car in the front instead of the gay glass ones that light like a candle

Normally I love that spoiler but it just doesn't look right there. Maybe because it's not all finished but maybe it just doesn't look good on a vert.
I like the wheels but if you do get them buy them from SLP as they make them just for third gens so you won't die with horrible spacers like that.
The hood is perfect.
I love the gfx.
The roll bar looks really good as well as do the Trans Am seats.

thanks for the advice chad. lol i dont want those wheels i want c6 wheels. thats some guys car from TGO and like right before he was gonna get it painted his buddy loaded it on the trailer wrong or somethin and it fell off and got totalled or somethin crazy like that. i have seen that spoiler on verts and i love how it looks. i still gotta decide about molding the gfx or not b/c that means like 3x more work just for that at least....so if i get a 8 point cage i will mold the gfx

on the verts i just like the spoiler that kinda lips up alittle on the verts.... Sfc's are not that expensive and i believe its one of the first mods a unibody car should have. THe roll cage looks pretty sweet so hell yea....

sfc's are twice the price of the roll cage... and i would have to have someone install them which means another 200+ at least. First i would have to find ones that even fit the verts b/c of the stock sfc's. roll cage is like $180 i think for an 8 pt. so thats def. what im going to get. thanks for the suggestions everyone. i really appreciate it.

Persoanlly I love that spoiler. Not so sure if it's those pics but it does look kinda wierd on a vert. I'm sure it'll look better once done. The roll cage - this is my stance, unless you got the power in the car to back up the "need" for it, it's a little rice. Dont get me wrong, some verts look awsome with roll bars. But the only ones I've seen that do look good - were at the track.
