I got a new duralast battery at autozone the other day. turns out their tops are now red, and it just wasn't looking good under the hood.

so i grabbed some old sheet aluninum and went to work using some clamps, a few blocks of wood, and a hack saw. i cut it out, folded it into shape, and polished it. after about an hour i had myself a battery cover:

still need to take care of the red lip on the battery though. some black plasticoat will touch that right up.
