HID sundown lighting: 6000k Mains & 6000k Fogs (PICS)

Well, I finally did some adjustments to the main lighting & foglights. The HID setups are just ridiculous bright !! ( It does look sick from a distance coming down the road, per my buddy) I found a nice flat spot at the bookstore to adjust some of my lighting. I'm made some adjustments, but it still needs some work. The lighting system does not have the glare in person that shows up on the camera shots. I'm not sure why the Sony camera is so bad about amplifying the glare (IDK). The drivers side is still incorrect for on-coming traffice. Next time I pull the car out I think I can finish fine-tuning the lighting system Here is a link to the original thread when I started converting the LT1 to a full HID setup just to give a refresher of what is involved.

It was easier to work on everything with the bumper off the car and I did not want to damage anything while doing modifications.

The camera makes it look really bad, but in person it's actually very subtle lighting (blu-ish white). I think the camera makes the lights look ridiculous. Actually, driving home not one person flashed me. So, I guess the adjustment on the lights must be pretty close to correct

Nice, how much did they run you? Where did you get them? And do they flicker?

I purchased both HID kits about 2 yrs. ago, cost of the H4 kit was $400 and the H3 kit was about $350 if memory serves right ? There is no flicker and I'm not sure why you would think a HID kit should flicker. Unless there is a problem with power being supplied to the system, that would be a whole different issue. I put a massive amount of design around the packing of all the wiring, ballasts and igniters to get the setup to look OEM in fit and finish

Thanks for the comps....
