Question Which color caliper?

Pretty simple question, I have a white car so what color caliper would look good on my ride? Right now I'm torn between red or white.

I would say black with the black trim you have

Honestly, red works with every color car. I'd love to see a bright white with some black camaro lettering but i'm not sure how well that would stand up to break dust in the long run. But if i had to choose... I'd say white just for the uniqueness of it.

white would be really different. I say no to red. Green would look pretty cool, also.

Well see here is the deal, I can get the kit in red, black, yellow, and silver from work.

However if I go with any other color I will need a G2 kit from Ebay.

Why does dupli refuse to make a white kit?:banghead:

BTW I'm trying to be cheap here, I just hate the fact you have to use all the G2 paint up at one time because of the activator you mix with it.

even with a brush on, it still looks better if you take them off and do it.

I got the duplicolor in black at advance on clearance a couple weeks ago for 5 bucks (still haven't used it since I plan on replacing calipers)

Red looks good on every car. I think that you are going to hate white after a while because they will get all dirty and ****..

And you don't have to take them off if you spray. I didn't and look how mine are. Just tape it off well and save you the trouble taking them off..

And if you wanted white, just go to a store that sells spray paint and but the high temp engine paint and clear. Thats what I did..

I actually have to agree with Derek on this one. I have painted a total of 5 sets of calipers in my time and never once did i take the calipers off. They always turned out fine. And any hi temp engine paint will work just as long as you clean the calipers really well and clear the hell out of them after words.

I've did them both ways, and the second time that we took them completely off , and gave them a complete overhaul they turned out much better than the first time.

Thanks for the help guys/girl. I was wondering when you go to paint a caliper (on the vehicle) is their is any part of the caliper you need to mask off? Odds are if I don't use paint kits I will just get some 1500 degree engine paint from work and some masking tape. As for the masking material, I will just use a bunch of unversity newspapers.

any place where metal touches metal you don't want painted as it could cause sticking or noise
