Chroming sotck rims?
Has Anyone ever considered getting their stock camaro rims chromed? Mine are the alloy 16" 94 rims...I was just thinking of getting them painted a gloss black or getting them chromed....I dunno just a thought...How much would they cost to get all 4 chromed anyways...?Has anyone ever done this? Mine are getting to the point where the brake dust and a bunch of other crap wont come off anymore...I even used an S.O.S pad to try and get it off and it got it off, but at the expense of some paint wearing off as well.

Your talking about salad shooters? No, don't chrome them, just buy aftermarket rims. Grant had chrome salad shooters and one time. (MeenZ28) I don't think it'd be worth the money to get them chromed or painted, especially on a black car (the black wheels wouldn't look right)

you can buy chrome salad shooters if thats what ur looking for. 1BadZ just sold a set of 4 pretty cheap so im sure if you just look around you can probably get a really good deal on some.

don't buy zr1s! Overdone and they aren't that great... Actually the salad shooters do look nice in chrome, in some people's opinions. I thought about getting them for my car at one time. You can buy them in chrome. I don't know if I'd want to spend the amount of money that you would to get them chromed, depends on wheether you can find someone in your area with a good price. You could buy a set of chrome ones for your camaro at the price that some co. may charge to chrome them, because a lot of people have trade-in programs for stock wheels. (You send them your wheels along with some cash) I think painting them black might be a pretty nice idea, especially if you leave a polished lip on them.
