Sometimes it’s good to be two-faced! The top-of-the-line DXZ925 features a motorized, dual action detachable face that motors down to reveal a second face featuring a multicolor screen and additional buttons. Another button lowers the inner face to reveal the CD loading slot! The The bright display screen displays all the information you could want - including CD Text (from compatible CDs), disc titles, and station call letters - in a large, easy to read screen. If that wasn't enough, there's a built-in EQ, Digital Signal Processing controls (for an outboard DSP unit), and crossover function. The DXZ925 is designed to be the heart of an audiophile sound system, with 6-channel, 4-volt preamp outputs with subwoofer level control, multi-changer capability, and CeNet TV Tuner control. The Zero-Bit Detector mute circuit shuns any unwanted low-level CD noise, while the high-end dual 24-bit D/A converter with 8X oversampling ensures flawless CD playback. Clarion's famous Magi-Tune+ tuner with RDS pulls in tunes loud and clear, and even displays the format and call letters of compatible stations. The DXZ925 even features built-in Dolby Pro Logic II decoding to transform your car into a rolling movie theater (just ad a screen and DVD player). Includes a wireless remote control.

Sounds good, looks good and is loaded!!!! by icemanniac August 20, 2004
I have a DXZ925 unit and while its not cheap, its well worth every penny. The ease of setting the controls and other features is just terrific.Just got the CL1 Sirius unit for it and waiting on the antenna. But I really like the radio and I'll be buying another as soon as I get me another car for NSPL Competition. The design is impecable.

I'm currently using DXZ925 (6 months old now!) Really fantastic player with good sound. It is not cheap but price always equal to quality. I've been a loyal fan of clarion for a long time and I must say that it's one of the best looking units so far. I previously use Clarion DXZ715 and Clarion DRX9255. I must say that Clarions have always been good at producing competition Hi-end heads units but not too keen in making the units look good. Therefore, most consumers are not too excited when they come across Clarion head unit. Only the ones looking for 'real' sound appreciate. I'm from Asia, so the Sirius is of no good to me. Other functions? They are great fun. If you're using external Amps, you can disable all other functions on the head unit itself to get the ‘clean’ unprocessed output.. The features and functions will be of good use if you have diversified music preference. For audiophile out there… word of advice: It is not a Clarion DRX9255 replacement!
You'll know what I mean. Clarion HX-D1 is the true successor. Meanwhile, cheers to DXZ925.
