Post who not to buy from off of Ebay.

I just wanted to start this off to ensure that people are aware of sellers out there that try to pull a fast one on people in the Amp world on Ebay.

I was screwed by JEFFERSON2166. He sold me an amp privately and did not ship it. I lost my $300.00 and I could not get it back not even from Paypal as he had originally sent the money request as a "Service" not a "Goods" money request.

Also I have seen many shaddy things going on, on Ebay.
Be careful if you are considering buying from the following sellers.

1. justonemoreamp he also has sober3101,caraudiosummoner,lovetujam, sqbump and luvt2jam.

2. andy4879 -sells used and damaged amps as new or mint
3. cadence03amps-sells used and damaged amps as new or mint
4. jefferson2166-sells used and damaged amps as new or mint and scams people.

Don't just look at their feedback first hand experience is crutial.
Look at this link for jefferson2166...
interesting info on jefferson2166

If anyone else has been screwed by these guys or others add them to the "don't buy list..."

I'm just trying to make sure no one looses any money or gets less than what they paid for.

i bought my whole system on ebay, spend 1.5K and everything was ok.
i guess you always have to look at feedback,
its always better to spend extra $ but be sure you get what you bid on.

Easier said than done.
I just bought an amp from a guy in Quebec said it was mint and in the picture it looked it yet when i received it, it was not mint. To top it off now I have to get it repaired as there is internal damage.
Now I'm dealing with paypal to get some money back.
So now i'm adding another to the do not buy from

Ebay seller pierrickneron

when i meant look at feedback, i meant buy from sellers that have feedback more than 1000 or so, not 4 like your seller from Quebec.

Yeah I know, I have never bought from someone with such low feedback.
I was hoping to get a good deal from him.
I guess I can't even trust a fellow Canadian.
p.s. feedback is only what you see on the surface.
many sellers have great feedback yet who knows what really goes on.
I have heard of people that actually pay or con others to put good feedback or they would put negative on others.
Anyway i'm going to really slow down on buying stuff.
I just have too much stuff and I need to get out of the doghouse anyway.

Later.

Buzzman93 or Buzzman95
(beleive he's un-registered now, )

my buddy tracked him down, turns out he owns a Ebay store called Audiosavings.

Sold me 2 Audiobahn subwoofers... In the description he wrote new, and they looked like they were used for like a year, they sounded like . Never got anything back for it

My friend bought a Audiobahn amp off him(around the same time). When we hooked it to test it went straight into protect mode. (was hooked by a professional, all wiring good). After my buddy made a claim and got in contact with him, he offered to pay only half

He resides in the states. IMO dont buy off a ebay user unless you dealt business or know someone who's dealt with them before. The user I bought my subs off had a good feedback and still sold me garbage.

Angry "Audio Scammings" is more like it

I got screwed by Audio Savings Ebay also. First, they said that they would send as Airmail, with postage and duty prepaid for X amount, and they would be at my door 3 to 5 days. I sent a money order in US dollars for that amount, waited 3 weeks, received at my door from a UPS truck the wrong speakers, was charged C.O.D. for which I had already paid shipping. At my expense, I had to return the speakers, wait another 3 weeks for the correct speakers which they again sent C.O.D by UPS, and was then charged 60 bucks import broker fees, and they left neg. feedback against me. Almost 8 months later, after I refused to pay the broker fees which I had already paid the first time around during the airmail scam, i got a call from a collection agency which tried to hammer me for another $75 for retrieval fees and brokerage, at which point I contacted UPS and explained the whole thing and was luckily forgiven and only had to pay the taxes on the broker fees and GST (which I already paid to those A$$H%^Es at Audio Savings.) Total time and money spent: $172 US dollars for $55 speakers, a mark on my credit, and about 9 months of Bull Sh&*. I dont recommend those guys. And added insult even further, after I scathed them with neg. feedback on Ebay, they somehow got it removed and still show 99% positive feedback. Go figure...

I bought an xbox 360 about a month and a half ago, buyer seemed to be great, I won the item and paid for it via paypal right away, he had it shipped out 3 days later with a tracking number, about 2-1/2 weeks later, I received it, opened it up only to receive 2 ps2 dance pads, I immediately knew I had been scammed, the guy had amazing feedback but he had his account hacked and the person sold 2 xbox's, I was the winner of one and there was another one so somebody else probably got scammed too, but yeah so I file a complain with ebay and I won it but they wernt able to recover the funds so im screwed for $400

the guys screen name was Kevin06Garden but hes no longer a registered user

"peoplewireless" I paid for a set of headphones, he dosnt send them so I leave him bad rep. so he leaves me bad seller rep saying that I wont contact him..even though I probably sent him 10 emails and 5 pms..not to mention he didnt respond to my paypal claim till I escalated it. Long story short, the fine people at paypal reviewed the case and rewarded me back my 12$.
