you have a ground loop, where is your ground wire? also are you using one of those fancy line out converters that introduce a ton of noise so you can hook a speaker to a factory type radio?

not really on a newer car unless they are arcing, all regular replacement wires and plugs are resistor to eliminate rf ( not to mention if it's computer controled and you get that much interference your car won't run)

it might be one of your belts....maybe alternator since the new system would strain a little

i had forgot i posted this until now. but anyway the ground is hooked up to a bolt going into the bed. and the squeling only comes from that one speaker. i hooked it up in my camaro and it dont do it. but o well im gonna put it back in the car with a 12 a friend gave me.
check teh wire to that speaker, may be shorted, also a bad rca cable can do that, any noise from speakers that's not in the music is bad

The system in my bronco used to do that, it was weird its sounded like a turbo charger comin out my speakers the higher the rpm's the louder it got, i asked a guy up the local audio shop what it could be and he told me to check out my rca's, they were old and they probobly were cracked and what not so i replaced all them and the sound never happened since, i dont know you can try that... sounds weird but thats what the problem was with me.
