Setting up my system

ok i finally got some moeny and am going to finish my system. i already have 4 alpine 4" speakers that are pretty nice, but obviosly no bass. so i bought 2 12" kicker comps that are 8 ohm im going to build my own box. just wondering what amp i should get or what i should look for. i have already hooked both them up just to try them out and they were fairly loud. just wondering what to look for in an amp for these subs thanks

Check the RMS power capacity of your speakers and then get an amp that has a less than or equal to RMS power output at 4 ohms. If you go greater you might blow the subs. Then hook up the subs in parallel.
