Ok so earlier to day i purchased a Clarion DB455MC deck and 2 pairs of ALMANI ALC1602. I got the whole lot for $139 USD, i was wondering if it was a good choice or am i a dumbass. Also I am going to be purchasing a Cerwin Vega Stroker 124 12" 4000 WATT for $219.00 plus free shipping. I was wondering what amp you would reccomend I am currently looking at a Power Acoustiks OV1-4000D 4000w MONO for 244.00. Any advice is well appreciated thanks guys

The deck and speakers is a GREAT setup, I was looking at this set as well on Egay! However the Stroker isn't great, I would much sooner spend money a lil better esp. if its a single 12" your after! Also with that amp, you would honestly be lucky to get 2000wrms CLEAN due to voltage drop, and just being an overate amplifier, I would explore my options, however there are great deals to be had!

Well what are you trying to acheive? DAily groundpounder? if thats the case, there are a few good stereo's that would do the trick for almost the same price, if your looking ONLY on ebay, I suggest MTX, at least 9500's, 10's or 12's! and for amps, depends on the subs!! thanks for the advice i am just lookin to get something that will turn heads at every corner and make the girls skirts fly off lol. I have heard the stroker is an amazing sub by a whole bunch of people

I have heard a few, it was somewhat impressive!! Don't get me wrong! however getting a sub that is meant for that much power as a daily, Id dump my money elsewhere, I just blew my sub, I ran a single 12" atomic APX with 3200wrms daily! that Turned heads and I never tried the skirt thing, However I know that the stroker is a great sub, Just I would look into other options! ESP. on the amp. Just my 0.02

If you want loud for cheap MTX is a good idea, but your gonna need the amp to put out the power too.

I was reading up on it and if u get far enough into it it says that it is designed for abused and heat now if that is true that is another story. The amp on the other hand i know for a fact that i have not heard great things bout it but nothing bad.

I just switched to Alpine from MTX and dont regret it, MTX is good but i prefer Alpine.
