Let's play the upgrade game.

On the lowend I have 2 JL 10WO's powered by a Punch 360a2. I'm looking for an upagred and I have around 3 cubic feet to play with. Let's see what some people can come up with.

2 Memphis 12" Mojo subs and a Memphis Belle amp. The bigger the amp is, the better.

soundstream 5 channel tarantuala amp and 2 pro 12's, or db drive 5 channel amp, and 2 db series 12's (you need to amp all the other speakers to get the best sound, and a 5 channel does that well in a smaller space)

Ok I could bridge the 5 channel amp down to 3 and then what? Good suggestions though from both of you.

Some things I have been looking at too would be a pair of JL w3v2' 12's or a single ported sound stream T4 12 and the sub(s) would be powered by something like a a PG Xenon series amps or a SoundStream Picasso series amp.

I will go with a mono block, so much easier and less wiring.

yeah but now you need sound for the fronts and rears so you have more wiring, and less room

I just need a 2 channel amp for the front and one mono block for the rear. And if I don't go with components I can just use my 4 channel Alpine I'm using right now.

Mojo 12s need 4 cubic feet a peace and you have to put like 1100 to each to get any good sounding bass from them

depends, I won spl competitions with an amp rated at 50 watts a channel (gotta love high current)depends who rates it, and how it was rated (no standard that is being followed by every company)

Yep, companies like Zapco and older soundstream gear was either very under rated or some of the few that actually gave a true rateing on their gear. Another example would be Halfer's old school amps, 80 watts a channel could easily make some Nakamichi subs pound.

the powerbass amps are supposed to be under rated, audiopipe is using the standard that was approved by the cea (not that anyone is using it) rockford used to under rate, but now I'm not so sure, the new soundstream is still under rated from the ones I've had here, and db drive is under rated

I know a lot of people lost respect for RF when they went mass market with Best Buy. And since soundstream was brought out I heard their gear declined a little bit in quality.
