Installed a compustar 2way Fm alarm and starter, 2 issues:
when i start the car w/ the remote control sometimes it takes like 2 or 3 tries for the car to start proper then it beeps back saying the car is started.
also the alarm goes off @ random times (there no cars around either or ppl)
Should i take it back to future shop and get it checked or what?
Also @ random times the alarm goes off it shows *** the windshield was hit trigged.

u could of went to selective sounds for professional installation.....compustars start at $375 including installation

did you install it or did future shop install it?........

sounds like major wiring problem or wires shortened to ground

Sounds like they need to reset the "Tach" sensor or whatever its called. I had the same problem with mine trying to start many times.

Secondly, it sounds like your sensitivity is way too high. Have them turn it down, then you test it out before it leaves there, so you find the right setting.

Your mistake was going to future shop man. They never get it right when they install stuff. Same with best buy. Go to a dealer like Audio Heaven, you'll get it done right the first time.
