amp uses up gas???? weird !
k i installed this 1000w amp, red to batt, black to ground. whenever i leave my car and comes back the next day, i turn on the car, and the gas level always dropps a lot, like 1/5 of a tank, but once i disconnected it, everything's fine, no more gas falling and stuffs like that, wondering if it's NORMAL or any possible reasonable explanation for it ?

Go to Canadian Tire, and spend $15 on a locking gas cap. This will solve the problem. Someone is stealing your gas. Well, unless you used a really long screw to mount the amp, and put it right through a fuel line.

Amps = electricity and that's about it. There's no way it's using up gas for your system.
There must be another cause and you've somehow come to the belief that it's the amp.
