stolen from this site. anyone know if this thing is 27L and was in the Spitfire as mentioned in the thread?

That's a 27 Liter Rover Mark 4B v12. 650 HP @ 2550 tpm and 1555 (!) lb/ft
It's the Rover version of the Rolls Royce Merlin engine also used in the Spitfire.
