i'd love to get an opportunity to see/buy one of those cars. some of them are real gems that you could prolly get real cheap.

as for my experiences, i saw a 1984 pontiac recaro trans am that was probably sitting for a good long while. i was almost going to buy it, but after checking it out, the floor and a-piller were rotted out . still had the rare recaro seats though, i'll prolly go get those this summer.

theres a local junk yard we go to that has all sorts of cool , nothing newer than early 90's really, but he has some thing i havent been able to identify, ike this old mini truck that only has a 3 bolt lug pattern. hes got an old datson or two back there, even found a pacer out back. lots of cool things, oh an a couple of first gen crx's, lol. just a ton of cool crap

it really is heartbreaking that people would let them rot then send them to a good home

yup, people who plan on restoring them, and whats sadder is these cars are worth a fortune, the superbirds i nparts alone even when rotten are still gonna be worth thousands and thousands of dollars. the hemi cars, well i dont have to get into what a hemi is worth but very sad, these people are all going to hell

i still cant get over how people could let some of these cars go. i can understand maybe 6 cylinder cars right but not hemi cars, or the shelby cars, or really anyhting with a big block, hell the dodge wing cars are worth a ton of cash and people just let them rot
