Last I remember, as an advertiser you try to get your name out in any means possible. I see nothing out of the ordinary with that car to call it rice. If it's a pro car then all of that serves a purpose. You don't just get a sponsorship and not have to show anything for it. They just got their name out because this picture was shown to people.
