actualyl a friend of mine put a 3.8 into a chevette, made it across town and the rear end wsa glowing red, lol
I`ve always wanted to put a v6 in a chevette ever since I saw that one at cayuga back in the 80s.
He had a stock 3.8 chevy in it and ran 14.0 with it.
I saw the car a year later at a car show and he had put a blower on it. Not sure what it ran after that.
I think a turbo buick in a chevette would be cool. I check from time to time to see if any clean chevettes are left and for sale. One of these days I`ll build one.

My best Friends' brother in law ows a fully caged and tubbed chevette with a BBC 454 on spray. this ran mid 10 spinning the whole track,.

and yeah, I'm also keeping an eye out for a clean RWD small car to build a street terror from. the GN draws way too much attention.,

MOst of the Chevettes left out there now, would need new rear shock towers put in. One of my buddies used to have a 4.3l 5 speed chevette. Sick little car. no traction on the street.

I'll be in the garage working on my oil pump. and finishing the port match on my heads and intake.

May even start on the new braces in the Back seat if it's nice out.
