New hood on....but not painted :(
As soon as I got home from class, I called a buddy over to help get the hood on, got it on and adjusted it so it fit like a glove(thank god), and drove it to where the painter would pick it up later. I talked to a mutuall friend who said he was very sorry, but he wouldnt get to it this week. (he had a very good reason, but its a long story and im in class, so i wont bother with it) So this weekend or early next week he should be able to do it. So now im driveing around all color mismatched, lol!
Cant post pictures directly, school internet = gay. Heres my flickr, they are the first 10ish pictures, enjoy.

Yes, I am aware the passenger front corner looks like it has a huge gap, it did. I have since adjusted the fender and moved the hood back some. Looks mucho grande better now.

Well, I got the hood in January, I had been scouring ebay for one, I gave up but my dad kept secretly looking. He came up to me and showed me one on the bay. Some guy came over the top of a hill and railed a deer going 70+ in his 2000 SS, he got the insurance company to get him a new hood and keep the old one. So it is a genuine SLP SS functional hood, with nothing more than some cracks in the paint, for only 400 bucks and a 40 minute drive. I have been waiting for ever to put it on, now I have to wait a week for paint.
This guy was a hell of a camaro enthusiast, he had his SS, AND a YENKO!
