This is the SSR-X (my version of the SSR)

I've always looked at the Chevy SSR truck and thought that a lot could be done kuztom wise to it. Even before it came out on the market - I was hand drawing custom body mods for it and doing all sorts of wacky shtuff. I've always loved the 40's/50's front end of it and the roof part but thought the rest lacked. First off I hate the way the back part of the front fenders look (too flat and boxy looking, should be nicley rounded countours - my opinion) and I think the body needs to be sectioned a bit (for those who dont know - sectioning is removing a horizontal layer from the body, much like a chop top is sectioned).

So I'm tooling round in photoshop (still very limited in what I can do), got bored of it and figured I'd try to digitally mod the SSR - similarly to what I drew out yrs back.

So this is what I came up with.

The mods:- streched roof line rearwards, larger diameter wheels, reworked front fenders, minor paint touch up, sectioning of the body, lengthened/stretched the mid section.

Personally I think the blue SSR-X looks fukken mint
