I would hope that $3000 worth of parts would be a HUGE difference ...

yea.lol. even without the stall and gears you would still make a huge improvement. and it would be like 700 dollars less. at least get a shift kit.

I hope you don't plan on running around the streets all day on a 3200 stall...thats too much for a daily driver IMO-

Stock Lightnings run around high 13's depending on conditions. Yes I know because my friend happens to have one-

A bone stock LT1, auto will run really low/flat 14's maybe.

Stock for stock the Lightning has you- but with your cam and heads you are prolly running around a 13.5 I would say. So I dont think you can say you would SMOKE one- and since all that truck was doin was spinnin I would say he either is a sh**** driver or he is dealing with a lot of power and can't plant it properly.

nice work

You run a 13.9 huh?

Well I run 13.8's constantly, and here's a vid of me vs. a stock lightning I mean, stock down to the paper filter, stock. I on the other hand, have a little exhaust work, and lid, filter, and bellows....No traction, issues. nothing...I just straight up got my a$$ handed to me...I'm in the right, lane, and he's in the left, btw.

Click here to watch the vid.

I'm with sincere on this one. Stock for stock he would beat you. A pulley, exhaust, and intake, and he should be on par with the heads and cam that you have. I mean with those BPUs a lightning with a decent driver should be low, low in the 13's.
