How not to park a triaxle dump truck in my driveway. (pics)
What a day it was this past Friday. Ordered 1.5 tons and some how got the idea that 20 tons more would work wonders for the driveway.
Anyhow, placed the order with Just. Co (John) Landscaping & Construction and had the truck down at my place within hours.
All was going well, and we knew the ground was a bit soft on the one side. 3/4 of the way up the truck sunk! The driver dropped the load and then the fun began.
A bobcat shows up to lend a hand. Not much use vs a buried triaxle.
In the meantime, start moving some of that crushed gravel.
The wrecker shows up now to tow the dump truck out.
The cable is NOT light.
Doesnt look like much, but that was enough to make sure the dump truck wouldn't move.
Truck out, starting to fill the holes.
More pictures on the way. Another 60 tons incoming.
