This is how North Carolina Rolls (HUGE POST)

theres a lot of mint old toyotas around toronto that no one knows about... but then again i guess those will never be anywhere close to what North Carolina has to offer.

hahaha mint toyotas, thats an oxymoron. toyotas, old ones, are the fastest things on the road to rot away. they make some great old trucks that come with very strong components but man do old toyotas ever rot the hell away fast. theyre the only faster rotting vehicle than honda

but there are cars brought in from florida california whatever, somewhat rust free and people store them for winter. Every city has amazing cars and then the regular bs. What i dont agree on is that the cars posted in this thread are somewhat regular nothing really special.

the cars posted in this thread are all pieces of . simple as that. theyre nothing special, its the same garbage you find in the gta, equally as gay and probably a whole lot slower. north carolina rolls like a bunch of pole smoking homos. wow a civic with some gay on it and maybe a swap. holy **** ive only ever read about that in magazine. wow, **** that impresses me.

He can diss, but he probably doesnt realize that no matter what anyone has on their vehicles all people even the so called "ricers" make up the remaining of what the scene is. United in numbers is the only way to preserve any kind of automotive enthusiasm and freedom and get these people educated so they dont do stupid stuff, is the next level. Not all but many, will realize the worth of higher quality parts through proper education. If they do stuff to their vehicles that means they are some what interested in cars, and its our job to educate them, not discourage them by dissing them. Think about it, if we start dissin the ones who are interested in vehicles they will stop coming to the very car shows that everyone puts on, and it will become a show of show cars for show car owners. Now thats rice. Isnt the guy above with the picture of the skyline in his signature with all the rice decals on it, trying to promote shows? If he is dissing no one will come to his shows so he will end up drifting at the race track by himself to himself. And, no u cant use the argument that "I dont want ricers at my show" cuz that will just make you a biggot and you wont make any money. Its a no brainer that "Ricers" have money, they did afterall purchase the fake parts, and someone made money on them. If you want them to come to your shows and spend money on your shows, so you can keep on throwing the shows(equilibrium) dont diss them as they need something to aspire to. Everything is a balance. Its common sense, that everyone starts as rice because they dont know any better at first, and discouraging them at the early stages isnt wise as half of the people dissing are making the newbies discouraged by calling them RICERS etc. The scene went through stages, the ones who have nice cars now, back in the day were sporting altezzas, decals etc cuz that was the in thing. Think of people who do that to their cars now just behind thats all. Doesnt mean they wont catch up? However, they dont even stand a chance to develop further and be able to appreciate quality parts as well as learn more about their vehicles. Dissing sux period.. if you have to diss cuz some of the stuff people pull with their rides is funny as hell I must admit... keep it private and dont discourage automototive enthusiasts. Discouragement creates negative energy, maybe because we diss so much that we get pulled over so much? We do have influence on society and society is us therefore we create the stereotypes that themselves are out to get us. Look at the bigger picture here people.
PS. that 240 is a perfect example of someone making a mistake when they bought it, dont diss it, use it as an example of an unsafe vehicle that isnt fit on the road, and make a post why so someone reading it doesnt develop the "diss" attitude and starts putting everyone down. Dont laugh at it and point it out!!! Deem it unsafe and state why its unsafe so to the Police and the media we come out as educated and wise enthusiasts.
End of rant. hehe lol

I wasn't dissing anyone really. Ontario cars are rotted versus Southern cars its a fact. I was just countering the statment made by someone that their cars look just like ours, which in my opinion they are much cleaner in the US and they use less fake parts.
Anyway, as for the scene its tough out there, not what it used to be. Some days I think the cops, insurance companies and gas prices are truly starting to kill it. People are moving on to sport sedans or SUVs and the new blood isn't coming in.

The scene is not very welcoming. People have changed. The show promoters expect everything for free because many believe they're special and deserve it.
The cars, recycled. All the shows have the same rides. Same themes etc. Not the promoters fault. Maybe blame the economy, insurance, car manufactures, cops or whatever.
The people don't want 'noobs' involved, so noobs don't come out. Look at all the idiots on forums who instantly talk to a new comer, so lame. When the shows are gone people will cry that there are no shows.
GTcars attended 24 events this past summer and i can tell you that by the end of the summer i had enough. PUR Automotive had a nice show with some unique cars, that one stands out.
There are many great car clubs taking big strides to make the scene good, but I can name atleast one club this past summer that was making the scene shitty.
That all being said. A close look at Ebay.ca when looking for cars will show you the quality of cars in the South. It is very rare that you find a 'mint' anything around here unless the person has cash and its been sitting in a Garage.
Z-Tuned, scene discussion should be another thread though. Fire one up
